In her icy lair she waits while perplexed scribblers try to convince themselves that beside a distant northern lake there is no shadow roaming free beyond the parameters of their prescribed calculus and ingrained ritualistic incantations.

Yesterday was a testament to the military’s dedication in relentlessly hunting down an enemy through many years of war, and we thank our president. We thank President Bush for having made the right calls to set up this victory.

If this were true, surely Mediaite could produce a quote from Palin saying that “the Libya intervention is costing American taxpayers $600 million a day.” Of course, Frances Martel, the left-wing radical who wrote the blog post at issue, is unable to produce such a quote because Governor Palin never said it.

The statement that Governor Palin has “made no comment on whether she thinks the oil tax should stand or be revised” is an objectively false statement.

If I was younger and still serving I would be honored to have her as my commander in chief. You can keep the phony tough guy men that get trotted out as candidates. I saw REAL leadership up close and I know what it looks like. Sarah Palin has “IT.”

“A New York Magazine story on Tuesday reporting that Sarah Palin parted ways with staffers Jason Recher and Doug McMarlin ‘just before’ the 2010 election doesn’t exactly hit the mark.”

Having the GOP nominate a generic mannequin as their candidate will ensure Obama’s reelection, and the only way to guarantee such a scenario is to convince Governor Palin to stay home.

It seems that Martin and his fellow travelers simply don’t know how to deal with a straight talking conservative who won’t put up with their BS, and feels no need to show respect where none is warranted. Either that or Johnny is still upset that Governor Palin had the, dare I say it, audacity to call him what he is: a punk.

President Barack Obama’s job approval ratings were even more polarized during his second year in office than during his first, when he registered the most polarized ratings for a first-year president. An average of 81% of Democrats and 13% of Republicans approved of the job Obama was doing as president during his second year.

Sarah Palin is openly Christian and prays regularly. She was president of a Christian group in high school. She is “pro life” and rejected terminating her last pregnancy when she found she was carrying a baby with Down’s Syndrome. Perhaps that is the problem for some of her critics.

Note to Politico: whether she comes in first place, last place, or any other place couldn’t be more inconsequential. Straw polls are meaningless. Indeed I doubt most people outside of the Romney braintrust and, apparently, Politico, are aware of or even care about this weekend’s shindig for New Hampshire pols. Why should they? It’s just a guess, but I suspect Governor Palin has less trivial activities on which to spend her time and other resources.

Our task is clear. The phrase “in the crosshairs” must be immediately and permanently stricken from acceptable public dialogue. Refudiated, as it were. But in so doing, we need to come up with an acceptable alternative: a new phrase with the same meaning. In short, “in the crosshairs” must be repealed and replaced. For if it isn’t, civil unrest, even anarchy, will surely ensue. And we’re talking real Old Testament chaos: wolves and caribou living together in harmony, polar bears and seals, even Democrats and Republicans sitting together at state of the union speeches.

This proxy war she’s waged with the mainstream media over the last year or so is a shrewd move. Not only does it keep her name front and center in the media, but she’s also honing her rhetorical chops while boning up on all her policy behind the scenes. The real battles don’t take place for quite some time and she knows it. Any rumor of her demise is premature, especially considering her trademark tenacity. She’s laying deep down in the weeds, ready to strike.

Loughner had “planned ahead” for the “assassination” of Congresswoman Giffords, apparently since he met her in 2007 which, I’m compelled to point out, was long before anyone had ever heard of Governor Palin or the Tea Party.

With only the barest outline of events available, pundits and reporters seemed to agree that the massacre had to be the fault of the tea party movement in general, and of Sarah Palin in particular. Why? Because they had created, in New York Times columnist Paul Krugman’s words, a “climate of hate.”

I don’t think I’ve ever been so repulsed by the shameless liberal media as I am today, watching and reading the purely “hate-hate-hate-!!” rhetoric blaming Sarah Palin’s “targeting” of Gabrielle Giffords’ Arizona district for Saturday’s tragedy.

An excellent article by John Nolte in today’s Big Hollywood.
