What is noteworthy about The Undefeated and its audience, is the use of not just multiple witnesses to tell the story of Sarah Palin, but taking it to the next level, and using the power of multiple witnesses to advertise the movie itself.

The Undefeated will be shown in four new cities this week. The cities are Cincinatti, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, Charleston, South Carolina, and Salt Lake City, Utah. It is important that you find a way to go if you can and bring as many supporters and skeptics as possible to the theaters this week. The media has written the film’s obituary but we have the opportunity to write its week 3 comeback.

“I came because my friend is always talking about Sarah Palin. People say this lady is brainless. She’s not only smart, but she’s a clean-government person. I gained respect for her.”

When Sarah Palin arrived at the Governor’s Mansion, she was asked by the director to give a detailed list of what groceries she would like purchased. The new Governor told the director that she wanted to use up all the food and supplies still in the pantry from the previous tenants before buying fresh groceries. Sarah’s spirit of “using what’s in the pantry first” is indicative of her application of simple household money management principles to general government.

I flew down to Orange to see the premier of The Undefeated because I wasn’t convinced I would ever get to see it on the big screen in San Francisco. I figured the Bay Area is probably the last place in the country The Undefeated would be released. This would likely be my only chance to see it on the big screen.

“The Undefeated” ranks as #15 in the all-time highest grossing debut category (and this includes Michael Moore’s unique hold on this category). However — and this is a mighty important however – nine of the films ranked above the Palin doc opened on more screens — in some cases hundreds more.
